HOW WE can HELP
Eating disorder nutrition support is about much more than being told what to eat. We take the time to understand what’s happening for you, what might be getting in the way of eating well, and what you need to feel adequately nourished and more supported around food.
Depending on where you’re at, this might include establishing more regular and adequate eating, working through food fears and rules, increasing variety and flexibility, supporting nutritional rehabilitation, navigating appetite and body cues, or exploring a more intuitive approach to eating.
We’ll work collaboratively with you to decide what feels useful and achievable, adapting your care as your needs change.
our approach
Our approach is non-diet, weight-inclusive and grounded in eating disorder best practice. We recognise that relationships with food and bodies are shaped by much more than nutrition alone, and we aim to provide a space that is compassionate, curious and free from judgement.
Where you have a broader treatment team, we can work alongside your GP, psychologist, psychiatrist and other health professionals to provide connected and consistent care.
Bloating, abdominal discomfort and unpredictable bowel symptoms can have a real impact on everyday life. And when you’re constantly trying to work out what you “should” or “shouldn’t” eat, food can quickly start to feel stressful too.
Our dietitians can help you make sense of your symptoms, understand the role nutrition may play, and find practical ways to support your gut health—without unnecessary restriction or an endless list of foods to avoid.

HOW WE can HELP
Gut symptoms are rarely solved by simply removing more and more foods. We’ll take the time to understand your symptoms, eating patterns, medical history and what you’ve already tried before deciding together what might be helpful.
Support may include identifying factors contributing to your symptoms, improving nutritional adequacy and food variety, supporting bowel regularity, exploring appropriate dietary strategies, or guiding you through a structured elimination and reintroduction process when clinically indicated.
We can also help you navigate conflicting nutrition advice and find an approach that supports both your digestive health and your relationship with food.
our approach
Our gut health care is evidence-based, individualised and intentionally mindful of the risks of unnecessary food restriction. We aim to use the least restrictive approach possible while still meaningfully addressing your symptoms and nutrition needs.
Where symptoms require further investigation or medical management, we can work alongside your GP, gastroenterologist and other members of your healthcare team.
PELVIC + HORMONAL HEALTH
Nutrition support through hormones, health changes and everything in between.
Nutrition can play an important role in supporting pelvic and hormonal health, but knowing what advice to follow isn’t always straightforward. Whether you’re navigating endometriosis, pelvic pain, PCOS/PMOS, fertility, pregnancy or menopause, we’ll help you make sense of the nutrition information and find an approach that works for you.
Our dietitians provide practical, evidence-based support that considers your symptoms, health, lifestyle and relationship with food—without restrictive diets or making body weight the focus.
Relevant Practitioners:
Georgia Hexter, Georgia Cogan, Helena McDonald, Jordan Burke, Ellen Simpson
Concerns / Support Areas:
→ Endometriosis
→ Persistent pelvic pain
→ PCOS / PMOS
→ Fertility and preconception nutrition
→ Pregnancy nutrition and gestational diabetes (GDM)
→ Postpartum nutrition
→ Perimenopause and menopause
→ Bone health and osteoporosis
→ Iron deficiency and other nutritional deficiencies
→ Pelvic health alongside gastrointestinal symptoms
→Nutrition adequacy and general wellbeing
HOW WE can HELP
There can be a lot of nutrition advice, misinformation and fear surrounding hormones and pelvic health. We can help you work out what is actually relevant to you and translate the evidence into realistic strategies that support your health without making food another source of stress.
Depending on your needs, we might explore nutritional adequacy, regular eating, gastrointestinal symptoms, fibre and bowel health, bone health, iron and other nutrients, cardiometabolic health, or practical ways to support yourself through different hormonal and life stages.
When pelvic pain and gut symptoms overlap, we can also help you explore these symptoms carefully without automatically reaching for restrictive diets or unnecessarily cutting out foods.
our approach
Our approach is non-diet, weight-inclusive and grounded in evidence. We recognise that pelvic and hormonal health can be complex, and nutrition is usually just one piece of a much bigger picture.
We work collaboratively with your broader healthcare team where appropriate, including GPs, gynaecologists, pelvic health physiotherapists, psychologists and other health professionals.
GLP-1 NUTRITION SUPPORT
Using or considering a GLP-1 medication?
Deciding whether to start, continue or stop a GLP-1 medication can bring up a lot of questions not just about nutrition, but about appetite, health, body image and your relationship with food. We offer a gentle, non-judgemental space to explore these medications and the complexities that can come with them, without pressure or assumptions about what the “right” choice looks like for you.
Whether you’re considering a GLP-1, have recently started taking one, or have been using one for some time, our dietitians can help you navigate changes to appetite, fullness, digestion and eating while supporting your nutrition and overall wellbeing.
Our approach is non-diet and weight-inclusive, with a focus on helping you stay adequately nourished, manage nutrition-related side effects and maintain a flexible relationship with food.
Relevant Practitioners:
Georgia Hexter, Helena McDonald, Lauren Marino, Jordan Burke
Concerns / Support Areas:
→ Nutrition support before starting a GLP-1 medication

→Maintaining food variety and flexibility
→ Navigating changes in your relationship with food
→ Eating disorder and disordered eating considerations
→ Nutrition support if medication is reduced or ceased
HOW WE can HELP
Eating enough and meeting your nutritional needs can become more challenging when appetite and fullness change. We can help you find practical ways to nourish yourself—even when you’re less hungry, becoming full quickly or experiencing gastrointestinal symptoms.
Rather than prescribing rigid rules or focusing solely on weight, we’ll look at the bigger picture: what and how you’re eating, nutritional adequacy, symptoms, your health needs and your relationship with food. Together, we can develop realistic strategies that fit your circumstances and adapt them as your experience with the medication changes.
IMPORTANT NOTES
GLP-1 medications are prescribed and medically managed by your doctor or other appropriately qualified prescriber. Our role is to provide dietetic and nutrition support alongside your medical care.
If you have a current or previous eating disorder or a complicated relationship with food, we can provide additional support to consider how appetite changes, weight-focused messaging and changes to eating may affect your recovery or wellbeing. Where appropriate, we can work collaboratively with your prescriber and broader healthcare team.

HOW WE can HELP
Sports nutrition doesn’t need to mean tracking every gram, following a perfect meal plan or organising your life around food. We’ll look at your training, nutrition, health, lifestyle and goals to work out what your body needs and how to make that practical in everyday life.
Together, we can explore how to fuel before, during and after training, support recovery and energy availability, prepare for competition or events, and troubleshoot challenges that may be getting in the way of feeling or performing your best.
Our approach prioritises adequate fueling and long-term health alongside performance, with particular care around body image, food restriction and the pressures that can sometimes come with sport.
ATHLETE & SPORT NOTES
We support people across a range of sports, movement and activity levels—from recreational exercisers and people returning to movement through to competitive and high-performance athletes.

HOW WE can HELP
Nutrition advice can quickly become overwhelming—especially when you’re managing a health condition or receiving different recommendations from different places. We can help you understand what’s relevant to you and turn nutrition information into practical strategies that fit your health needs and everyday life.
Rather than handing you a generic meal plan or a list of foods to avoid, we’ll work collaboratively to understand what you’re already doing, what feels challenging and where changes might genuinely be useful. This might include supporting nutritional adequacy, meal structure, energy, blood glucose, cardiovascular or bone health, or simply helping you feel more confident about feeding yourself well.
OUR APPROACH
Our approach is evidence-based, non-diet and weight-inclusive. We focus on health behaviours, nutrition and the things we can meaningfully support—without making weight loss the goal of your care.
Where you’re managing a medical or chronic health condition, we can work alongside your GP, specialist and other healthcare professionals to make sure your nutrition care fits within the bigger picture.
SOMETHING ELSE?
That’s completely fine. A lot of health concerns overlap, and you do not need to know exactly what kind of support you need before booking. You also don’t need to have a specific diagnosis to see a dietitian!

What to expect from appoitnments
Your first appointments are about getting to know you and understanding the bigger picture. We’ll talk about your health and nutrition history, your relationship with food, any symptoms or concerns you’re experiencing, your current circumstances and what you’d like support with.
There’s no expectation that we’ll cover everything in one session. Sometimes a thorough assessment takes more than one conversation before moving into strategies and planning, and that’s completely okay.

You don’t need to prepare anything special before your first appointment. If you have a referral, recent blood test results, medical information or other documents you’d like your dietitian to see, you’re welcome to bring them along or send them through beforehand.
Most importantly, bring yourself—and anything that helps you feel more comfortable. Fidgets, colouring or drawing, a favourite drink, headphones, a support person, or anything else that helps you feel more at ease is always welcome. There’s no expectation to sit still, make eye contact or do appointments in any particular way. We want you to feel comfortable being yourself in the space.
